Description

The Aeon CLR® 3 is an EDGE FREE® fixed frame screen that utilizes our CLR® 3 (Ceiling Light Rejecting®) material. Its serriform optical surface lens microstructure negates the washout effect of ambient light especially from overhead sources. This also enables the material to provide contrast levels that are 75 times greater than that of standard matte white projection screens.

CLR® 3 is specifically designed for ultra-short-throw projectors to provide a large-screen performance in the close quarters of most residential or training room environments. CLR® 3 offers a wide viewing angle, neutral color temperature, and enhanced picture contrast in a theater-grade image.

EDGE FREE® means there is an internal framework with wraparound material bordered with an ultra-thin bezel. The screen uses a Ceiling Light Rejection® technology.

Well made UST screen

Putting the screen together is an exercise in patience but the instructions are very easy to understand and concise. There is even a small bag of extra parts which was thoughtful! Quality of the screen is really good and the brightness and contrast is impressive.

It works great worth every penny

Worth every penny, I thought it was very easy to assemble, tip, watch the YouTube videos about the process, anyway it preforms great, even in a well lit room, the ambient light rejecting aspect is amazing, I will send a video, anyway we all know the picture quality is dependent upon the source material and the quality of the processing, and that means it will reproduce as good a picture as possible with what you are working with, I am using the Hisense PX3 Pro, source material, streaming usually is very good and cable too, the installation was very smooth, just follow the instructions, I do recommend using the YouTube videos to get a better understanding of what is going to be done, all in all it’s a great screen for UST projectors, I recommend it

Awesome size and quality, but assembling & mounting is frustrating.

It's been a little over a year since I've had Elite Screens Aeon CLR3 123" UST ALR Projector Screen.The size and quality are amazing. Everyone who has seen it has been impressed. I've paired it with Nexigo Aurora Pro UST.My biggest issue with it is the assembly and mounting. It took almost five hours to assemble and another two to three hours to mount it over a span of two days. That is insane.Also, if you've young kids, then be ready to have scratches. This screen gets easily scratched, for example, when mounting it slipped, and as I tried to grip it, it got scratched. Thankfully, it's in the bottom right corner and not visible when the picture is playing.Buy it with the right expectations, tools, and if you're not handy, then get professional help.
