Worth the cost

This screen is absolutely everything I hoped. Attached are a couple pictures and a video with lights on and Windows open. Great picture with lights off or on. Great quality and easy assembly. Very happy! Video taken with garbage cell phone. Picture quality better than it shows here.

I’m very happy with the new screen. Ceiling Light rejection works well. Some wash out from lights and some glare with the lights directly above when turned on fully, but it is noticeably better than without the screen. The packaging and instructions were great and the screen arrived sooner than expected. The photos I’ve included are with my Vava 4K UST and are pretty accurate to how I perceive it in person. With lights on and dimmed a bit the picture brightness is still pretty great.

I have to thank the team at Elite Screens as I originally purchased the wrong screen for my Ultra Short Throw Projector and set-up. The customer service team were so responsive and helpful, advising me on the options and ultimately which screen to purchase. And also stayed in touch with me throughout. The screen arrived quickly, was well packaged and was fairly simple to put together, once you follow the instructions that are provided. Once up on the wall - I went for the 123" Aeon CLR 3 - I was amazed by the quality of the picture. It pops even with ambient light. However it comes into its own when it's dark, the picture is simply epic. There is no light bleed, or light reflection, and works brilliantly just as the team suggested. I can't recommend this screen, and Elite Screens, enough if you have an UST projector set-up, like my Vava.

It's been a little over a year since I've had Elite Screens Aeon CLR3 123" UST ALR Projector Screen.The size and quality are amazing. Everyone who has seen it has been impressed. I've paired it with Nexigo Aurora Pro UST.My biggest issue with it is the assembly and mounting. It took almost five hours to assemble and another two to three hours to mount it over a span of two days. That is insane.Also, if you've young kids, then be ready to have scratches. This screen gets easily scratched, for example, when mounting it slipped, and as I tried to grip it, it got scratched. Thankfully, it's in the bottom right corner and not visible when the picture is playing.Buy it with the right expectations, tools, and if you're not handy, then get professional help.

If you plan to get a short-throw projector, add to your budget this screen. Makes the difference during the day and superb contrast in the night as it has a grayish color. It was easy to install and, following the instructions, I ended up with a perfect smooth screen. The backlight adds dept to the scenes and it is a great addition to the screen.Highly recommended!

This product arrived with a box inside a larger box and the box and product were damaged as per pictures i believe this was repackaged either at Amazon or at Elite Screens fully known that the the box was damaged and no one bothered to inspect the contents,the screen is completely scratched all the way down one side rendering this product totally useless to anyone,this should have never been sent out anywhere other than a garbage bin. I am extremely unhappy with this as they could not replace it so i am forced to reorder and wait another week or so for a replacement to arrive.

I owned Elite screen before not for UST projector, this is a good quality screen, which I’m using it with VAVA UST projector in my living room after I replace my 82” SAMSUNG TV.Picture quality is great and special CLR future reject Cellini light and I can watch as regular TV with window blind open.I don’t have a good experience with Elite screen customer service but the quality of products are good.I’m satisfy with the quality of the screen and the image quality for the screen price less than $900.

Amazing screen for UST projectors at an affordable price. The photos are not as good as in person. The projector I am using is the Optoma Cinemax P2 on the 103” screen. It took me about 1.5 hours to install the screen. Two people are only needed to put it on the wall because it is so long.

An ultra short throw projector has already eaten over $2,000 of your video budget, so now’s not the time to go cheap. Yes, you need the matching screen. ;-)I spent a few hours reading on the differences between ALR and CLR screens and that was an excellent use of time, and why I chose this Aeon CLR 3 screen. I don’t have any overhead/ceiling lights to contend with, but this screen’s physical design mitigated the light reflecting off the surface, onto the ceiling, as had been my experience when projecting my UST laser projector only onto the wall. You’ll probably need to lower your projector’s default brightness settings because this screen is crazy efficient.Setup was as easy as the videos demonstrate, but took two of us several hours to complete because you don’t want to F this up by being inattentive or cavalier. Make sure you have plenty of room on each side to sit while assembling the frame and attaching grommets & springs. Parts included 4 wall-mount brackets, but only two are needed because they’re well designed and are only supporting 22 lbs.The included LED strip lights (a stand-alone pair, clearly not manufactured for this specific application) seemed frivolous excess at first, but wow, it’s pretty cool after all! Go ahead, install them. Unfortunately its wiring/connectors box is a bit too large to be hidden behind the screen, so it can only dangle awkwardly 2-3 inches under the frame. I haven’t settled on how to hide it yet. I wish I had installed it off to one corner instead of along the lower frame in the middle.

Excellent quality and everything you need to assemble. Was easy to assemble and hang. Works great for our short throw Samsung. Now we see why it's promoted by Samsung. Looks great in our conference room. My pictures don't do it justice.

Seems to have enhanced image over just the wall or matte white screen. Can definitely tell the light rejection, but even taking they out of the equation (using in basement theater setup with control over 90% of the light) it’s better sharper crisp image. Quality is very nice to the material and frame. Assembly was not hard but took several hours. Wish the included LED kit was “smart” enabled. For $20-50 you can pick one up online but for the price the included one should be Alexa capable. Not a deal breaker but would be nice!Using with LG UST projector.Will try and post a pic later. So far I’d buy again.

No good during the day, buy this only if you blind your windows or use only at night

Good Product but not worth the price

I built this in about 30 minutes and was easy to build. The quality seems good but the screen is very sensitive to scratches so be very careful when installing it. Luckily I don't see the scratch when watching a movie and can only see it at the right angle and light. The problem is the image quality. While it does look better than a normal matte finish screen, I would say it still is not good enough to watch with the lights on. I would say buy a $200 matte finish screen and turn out the lights. You will most likely do that anyway.

This ALR screen is the best. Yes a little expensive but compared to AWOLs screen or others its about half the price. Cheapest name brand ALR CLR 3 screen out there. A little stressful setting it up as the screen material is said to scratch easily. It survived unscathed.

I’ve had a mixed bag experience with this product since purchasing it. The screen produces a good image paired with my Epson EpiqVision LS300 at ~ 120”. However after about six months ripples are starting to develop in three of the corners, not enough to be obvious when the projector is on, but noticeable during other times. Technical support is sending additional springs, presumably to increase tension, and suggested I add holes. I was kind of taken aback by this and said I’m not going to modify the product to fix this. However, I’ve not yet received the springs so I have yet to say if it helps or not. My room is climate controlled within the 70s with 50% relative humidity, so, I don’t know. Not a perfect product and not feeling good about the price I paid for it.

This is a great screen, well built, awesome picture, paired up with my WeMax 4K UST projector. I would have given 5 stars but there were a couple of things that prevented this.1) The drywall anchors that are included with the product are absolute garbage. I would hope that when you spend this much money for a movie screen, the company could kick in 10 bucks to include anchors that actually work. I'm a pretty avid DIY'er and I have never in my 30+ years as a home owner been so disappointed in a drywall anchor than I was with the ones included in this kit. If you buy this screen, I would recommend not using them and instead use E-Z Anchors from Home Depot, or similar product.2) The 2nd issue, not a huge thing for me personally but maybe for some, was the LED backlight strip that came with it. Honestly I had no idea it included a light strip, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that in the packaging. Unfortunately, the instructions for the LED lights that came with them did not match the screen framework of my product purchased, so nothing really lined up. The instructions showed a totally different frame which had an additional piece to it which the lights could adhere to. My screen frame did not have this and there was really no good place to put them given the width of the LED strip. I did attempt to put them on part of the frame where they ended up hanging over the aluminum a bit, but unfortunately, this was just enough of a hang-over to prevent the screen for getting close enough to the wall to have the bracket get into the groove which held the screen up on the wall. So, after messing with it for a short period, I just opted to scrap the lights and hang the screen without them. Good idea on the part of Elite Screens, poor execution.3) The last issue I had was related to the documentation, specifically for how to place and hang the brackets on the wall. There was a lot to be left to interpretation in a situation where interpretation should not have been required. It wasn't clear (to me, anyway) what edge of what item the measurements were to start from. Maybe this one is on me and I just misunderstood things, I am certainly far from perfect or an expert handy-man, but there's definitely room for improvement here..

Came in a timely manner , the assembly takes some real time...the picture quality is a lot disappointing during daylight hours, after seeing the videos on them was nothing like those, had to turn the brightness to 100% to watch during the day using the formovie theater laser projector with it was said this was the best for this projector, also the remote didn't put out a beam for the lights, will be sending a message about this......all n all during dusk n low light conditions its great...maybe l need to build a box around it to help..not sure..just a lil disappointed during the day

Worth every penny, I thought it was very easy to assemble, tip, watch the YouTube videos about the process, anyway it preforms great, even in a well lit room, the ambient light rejecting aspect is amazing, I will send a video, anyway we all know the picture quality is dependent upon the source material and the quality of the processing, and that means it will reproduce as good a picture as possible with what you are working with, I am using the Hisense PX3 Pro, source material, streaming usually is very good and cable too, the installation was very smooth, just follow the instructions, I do recommend using the YouTube videos to get a better understanding of what is going to be done, all in all it’s a great screen for UST projectors, I recommend it
