Updated review. Well unfortunately I was wrong. A couple weeks in and this thing is rusting again. While the main frame is aluminum, the connectors and screws are not so they’ve already started rusting and this won’t last the summer. Bummer. Great looking screen but getting tired of having to constantly replace every year.I purchased this screen now and 4 years ago. Let me tell you They have made significant improvements since then. The picture quality was good back then but was difficult to install difficult to break down, rusted etc. this new design is fantastic. Much easier to put up. Much more sturdy. Nicer case and much better frame. This company deserves a lot of credit for significantly improving this product.

This is a good quality screen with a reasonable price which I bought from Amazon U.S.A, however Amazon U.S.A did not provide freight service to Singapore. Although Amazon Singapore also selling the same product, but the same item can cost me twice the amount when I bought from Amazon U.S.A and arrange freight with EZShip to send it back to Singapore.

This review is for the 120" Yard Master Pro. I've actually ended up using this screen a lot more than I thought I would. Part of that is due to the relatively easy setup and breakdown. I can get it together myself now in about 15 minutes tops and only need one other person to actually lift it up and place it. The picture quality is great. The adjustability is great and has come in handy when we've had a lot of people watching in rows. This is a solid four stars and I'd definitely recommend this screen.I deducted one star for the following reasons:- I've gone as far as keeping the screen set up overnight and just can't get the wrinkles out of it. Further, it's almost impossible to fold the same way it comes with so I've only introduced new wrinkles in the weeks I've been using it. Luckily it doesn't seem to affect performance at night but you can notice the wrinkles if you're starting a movie around dusk. Even then, it's not terribly distracting though.- The anchor system isn't very tough. It adds some stability for normal conditions, but even a little bit of wind will cause it to go shaking (or even fall with a strong gust). We solved this when necessary by using our own stakes set further out from the legs with rope run through the provided eyelets. On a decently windy night recently, the screen didn't budge. So, overall, definitely happy that the screen can perform with the right setup.- I found the instructions confusing at first, made more confusing by the company video for this series that is actually for smaller sizes and not relevant to the 120" style I purchased. I wish they also made a video for the larger styles. But after some trial and error, I got it and setup has been easy since.

Overall I'm very impressed with this screen. The picture quality is great. There are wrinkles, but my family can't noticed them once the movie is playing. The metal frame is easy to unfold and snap together and seems very sturdy. The height adjustment is a nice feature. I have it low on my patio because we sit rather close, but could easily mount it higher for a larger crowd. With the 145" size it takes 2 people and 2 points in the setup - first when you need to flip the screen over to mount the legs, then again to lift the assembly in the air. My backyard is windy, and with sandbags on the feet it doesn't move. I've put it up 2 times so far, and the second time when I knew what I was doing took about 10 minutes to set up. Teardown is even easier - you can have it in the bag in under 5 minutes if you hustle. The storage bag is very high quality and strong, and also well thought out with compartments for the different pieces of the frame and a leather pouch for the screen.Similar to what previous reviewers have mentioned, the screen is very snug. I'd imagine if I just grabbed the canvas loops in the corners and pulled hard I would rip it like others have. Knowing this going in, I was very careful handling the edges and if you use a pulling/stretching technique near the snap you are trying to and pull an entire handfull of edge, it's not too bad to snap on. It does take patience and some hand strength however.Overall, I would definitely recommend. I have gotten many compliments so far.

Like a lot of families this year, we decided to set up a back yard theater to have friends over while maintaining social distancing. When we went to pull the trigger to purchase the projector and screens, we learned that screens are tough to get these days, but Amazon finally got them in stock at a price much better than other online retailers. I'm an engineer (only saying that so you know where my head's at for this review), and this screen is made about as well as I'd expect it to be for a consumer product at this price. I chose this brand since they appear reputable and are carried by stores that also sell higher-end photography gear and theater products. It's made in China like everything else these days, but it's backed by a US company. I like the mostly-aluminum construction, which helps with the weight tremendously. The screen itself is nice and thick and I expect it to last a long time. The PVC material looks like it'll clean up easily should it pick up any soil, and it looks like it'll survive getting rained on (but always let it dry before storing it!).There will be some creases, but they are not noticeable at all unless you're too close and looking for them. To reduce creases while stored, I made a storage device out of 4" PVC and some toilet flanges, shown in the pictures. Use some acetone to remove the factory print on the PVC pipe so it doesn't accidentally transfer onto your new screen.The 145" screen can be assembled by one person but it's a bear. Don't do it by yourself if it's windy at all, and forget about moving it by yourself once it's assembled. Even trying to turn it slightly puts a twist on the far aluminum leg unless the floor is slick. The hardest part is snapping the screen to the frame. It needs to be tight, and in cool weather when the material shrinks and isn't as stretchy it can be a finger buster to pull it tight and snap it in.As mentioned earlier, the frame is extruded aluminum with "ferrous alloy" hardware (hinges, clips, etc.). Plain old steel is a ferrous alloy, and I'm seeing a little staining on some of these parts after only a couple weeks of ownership and two days of being outside. No big deal as long as they don't start to straight-up rust. One of the plastic end caps keeps popping out (see pic). I wasn't going to mention it but the same one popped out twice (even after tapping it back into the end of the tube all the way home the first time). The locking mechanisms that hold the folded tubes straight are good quality and easy to work with.Bottom line, I'm happy with the purchase and even with its faults it's still better than a lot of screens on the market. For the 2 nighttime pictures included with this review, I'm using a 3600 lumen projector and the pics were taken back-to-back. The pic where the image appears washed out is from my camera deciding its own settings, but the other one was taken by optimizing camera settings on the movie screen.

Great product. Very sturdy and easy to set up. Need 2 people to set up due to the 200" size. At 1.3 of gain the brightness and clarity is terrific. Don't forget the popcorn machine!

Great picture!! Best part i loved about this screen is that it held up from the wind. We have our own personal wind tunnel in our backyard and this screen was put to the test and passed!!! Very easy and quick to assemble and breakdown. Definitely recommend!!

This is a great screen! It's sturdy and seems like it will hold up for years. Comes with tie downs that make it extra stable. We had a light breeze for our first night using it, and there were no problems.The best part though - it's so easy to assemble / disassemble...at least as easy as something could be for this size of frame. Very well designed!

I used 2 of the 145" Yard Master Plus screens in a ballroom. I appreciate the adjustable height feature for keeping good audience sight-lines from the back of the room. I added a 9-foot-wide, 10-foot-tall black curtain behind the screen for a professional look and I pulled the curtain around the legs and clamped them in place. Very pleased with the high quality construction. Only the test of time will tell but so far so good. The picture looks great on this screen and I doubt you’ll find a better surface. The black border ensures that your picture looks perfectly aligned even if you are off a little.Purchased the 145 inch screen which is larger than I thought. You need a second person to stand the screen up, even if you do get everything put together on your own. I would say set up and take down is about a 15 - 20 min process if you are being careful and when you get used to it (not including setting up AV).Putting the stakes in the ground is essential as I do think wind would easily blow this over. I do wish the stakes were a little more substantial given the size of the screen.

I will admit that we were a little apprehensive purchasing this screen because up until this point, we've stuck to another screen brand that is an industry standard and costs twice as much. A lot of times you get what you pay for, so we didn't know what to expect. We are pleasantly surprised that this screen is almost an exact replica (including level of quality) of the other brand that we've purchased, but this screen is half the price! The stand is sturdy and the material seems to be nice and tight. The snaps are nice and tight and stretch the screen material as expected. Also, ISF certified?? Fantastic! We're excited to add this screen to our portable rig and get it out there! Thanks Elite Screens!

I submitted a picture of the screen's initial indoor trial run, but we have used it exclusively outdoors since then. It's the highlight and centerpiece of our new tricked-out backyard/deck. The kids and all of our guests have been BLOWN AWAY. The screen is huge, but frankly, it's the perfect size for our garage-top deck. I wouldn't go any bigger or smaller. When football returns one day, I will be watching every single game on this screen. I've only had the screen for a couple of weeks and there are a couple of small creases, but I am 100% sure they will go away. If they don't, I'm sure the hair dryer method will work. When watching our movies, we can't even see any wrinkles. Getting the screen up and down is pretty quick and easy, especially once you've done it a couple of times, but it is much, much easier with 2 people. Make sure you have heavy sandbags or something similar to put on the legs in high wind. When I tell people how much I paid for this, they are somewhat shocked at the affordability. I'm sure there are cheaper knockoffs available, but I would forego those and pay for this higher quality item.

UPDATE: Called Elite Screens customer service about issue below, and it turns out that in cooler temperatures (even 60 F apparently), the screen can shrink. They sent me a new one and the person I spoke to on the phone was really helpful and lovely. Lesson is that if you put it together outside and it's not fairly warm you need to be really careful, or they said use a hairdryer to warm it up and help it stretch.--------------- ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW------------Really strange scenario because this thing is fantastic and worked PERFECTLY since I bought it in March of 2019. I used it about 5 times with no issue. You have to apply some force to stretch it over the frame, but nothing too difficult.Now I got it out about a week ago, in about 60 degree (F) weather in Dallas, TX, and the screen refused to stretch over the frame. I used the pattern given in the instructions on what order to go in (corners, then sides, etc), as I always have. But this time I had to pull as hard as I could and get someone's help, and it was still well shy of being able to stretch over the frame. It was really like it somehow shrunk. So strange!Attached pics of where it ripped and broke while I was trying to snap it on the frame. Don't know what to do now.
