The Starling Tab-Tension 2 CineGrey 4D is a high-quality electric tab-tensioned motorized screen. It utilizes our CineGrey 4D, which is a ceiling ambient light rejecting front projection surface. It has an elegant arcuate shaped aluminum housing in a black finish that allows floating brackets to attach to the back for a quick and easy installation for wood stud alignment. The Starling Tab-Tension 2 includes a handful of control options and has a tab-tensioned system to maintain a taut and ripple-free projection image.

This is my second CineGrey screen, this time from a different series. Here's the fact, this will make your image DARKER than a plain white wall. And as for the light rejecting properties? Meh, not really. What's the point of even buying it then you ask? Contrast! The problem with most screens is anything that is black will just be as dark as the darkest part of your white screen. This thing has a magic trick that makes the dark areas actually blacker. Not actual black, but pretty close. The price though is brightness, as it does suffer to a degree. In a dark room, you won't notice that though, you'll just be happy that it has nice dark blacks, which is probably the better of the two options (it is for me). This had a different assembly method and took me and a friend over an hour to assemble with hundreds of little springs. Not that hard to do, just takes time. Note that you'll need a huge flat area to assemble this, and we had to move all the seats out of the lounge to make room. If you don't have the floor space to build this flat, you have a problem as that's pretty much the only way.AND NOW MY COMPLAINT... Because of the size of this, any tolerance issues in the frame show up. Mine has a bend/twist a bit as I don't think the corners are 100% square. This isn't an issue when the lights are off and the projector is on, and I may be the only person who notices it (I ran my laser level to confirm), but that's what you get when you're building a 180" screen I guess.Overall, I can't give it a full five stars as it's not a miracle worker like they would have you believe, but it's still worth it. I did get it massively on sale vs the list price of $1500, so that helps. :)
