Description

The Aeon CineGrey 5D is a ceiling ambient light rejecting fixed frame screen with an EDGE FREE design for a minimalistic appearance. The CineGrey 5D front projection material is the perfect solution for rooms that have little or no control over incidental light. It is an ideal fit for family rooms as well as lecture halls, boardrooms, sports bars, training facilities, and other business environments.

CineGrey 5D is superior to traditional white or gray materials in its ability to maintain a sharp, bright image regardless of ambient light. The angular reflective material incorporates a diffusion layer over a high reflective surface. This causes direct light from the projector to reflect squarely into the viewer's field of vision while the outer contrast layer enhances image quality while absorbing indirect ambient light.

Enables Daylight Viewing

The R150DHD5 is installed in my Family Room, with a lot of windows. It is in an alcove that is approx. 24" deep. I can now use this screen during the day. At night the picture is sharp and vivid. It looks "picture perfect". This is my second CineGrey screen. The other CineGrey is installed in my bedroom and is a AR120DHD3 and is also perfect

less speckle than fire hawk sample and maybe better rounded than black diamond.

After buying and using it with mad light I have come to realize that the other screens that compete with it or literally just 500% Markup....I've gotten samples of BD and Firehawk....this seems to combine side and top ambient light rejection. (Incase you don't know the BD handles above lighte while the Firehawk handles side light)there are 0 viewing angle considerations as well.On a negative you will get a slight hot spot about 1 foot square- the same thing with any angular materials including the Black Diamond 1.4, the Firehawk G4 is 1.1 gain so it doesn't have a hot spot actually but it has a little speckles so pick your poison.I think this screen is no better or worse than those two. All 3 amazing just priced differently. Assembly and frame quality is obviously less with the elite but once it's up its the same difference.

Nice screen tough to put the screen on the frame. Takes a lot of work. Best done with at least two people. Happy with the final product !

Excellent and affordable ALR screen!

This Screen is simply wonderful! I couldn't say enough about it's performance so I decided to post a short video. In the dark this screen is just as impressive. If you place the projector at even level with the top of the screen and at 1.6x the screen width the hot spot effect is minimal. So in short I'd recommend this screen to anyone!

Came in with creases in screen.

The unit came rolled up and when I unrolled the screen and stretched it you could see creases running from top to bottom all the way across. Wish I had never bought it.

Love the curved screen

Love the curved screen. 4K Picture on the screen is awesome. I would definitely give the screen 5 STARS. But......Assembly was little difficult as the screen material needs to be really stretched and clamped. Probably it may be easier to do it with help. Mounting instructions / measurements to place the hinges to hang the screen is completely off in the provided manual. I had to remove the bottom hinges multiple times and manually place it to get a tight fit. Once the screen was mounted, it looked great aesthetically and the picture quality is fantastic.

Wasn't as easy as everyone described it (to put together), but is a great screen. I recommend this screen for anyone who wants a clear picture. Get a good projector. I got the SonyHW45ES and the picture quality is awesome :)
