[Elite Screens] Aeon CineGrey Series

Arrived very quickly and picture quality is as advertised. Adding the thin framing was the most difficult process; having two people, the small hammer that came in the kit, and some muscle helped. The holes in the screen for the framing did not line up at all...had to add our own holes.

So far I'm very happy. I went with CineGrey because I have an older 2000 lumen HD projector (maybe I would have gone with White if I had a newer one, we'll see in the future). My basement is light controlled but the walls are white and we usually have a least one light on somewhere. They Grey really makes dark scenes and space scenes look spectacular and the brighter scenes don't seem to suffer too much. I did not like the CineGrey 3D or 5D *except dead-on where it was spectacular. I felt the inconsistent glare and viewing angle wasn't worth the increase in picture brightness. I would only use those for fixed seating in very bright rooms (where they would be outstanding). Get the samples and see for yourself! I'm glad I did. Building the frame was easy, attaching the velcro screen was an hours long chore (with breaks). It's nice and tight now, but pulling the screen until the velcro was fully on (and it must be or it wont hold) tested my arm and hand strength. It took many passes to get right. Once it's on it's nice and tight and smooth. Super easy to frame and hang on the wall though.
