Description

The Starling Tab-Tension 2 CineGrey 5D® Series is an electric motorized retractable projector screen that uses an Ambient Light Rejecting material. The retractable feature provides flexibility to mounting the screen without dedicating its designated location to exclusively one purpose. The ambient light rejecting material is formulated to sustain excellent color reproduction and contrast for enhanced picture quality in environments with little control over room lighting.

    • 92", 106", 120" and 135" in 16:9 format

  • Floating brackets allow easy wood stud alignment for a wall or ceiling installation

  • Plug & Play ready, no hardwire installation required

Control System

  • Includes handheld Infrared (IR) and Radio Frequency (RF) remote controls, and a wall box controller for manual on-wall operation.
  • User-friendly programmable vertical drop position for easy installation (RC1 Version Only)
  • Wall box controller is detachable for a clean look while maintaining RF & IR functionality
  • Built-in selectable channels allow one RF remote programming to control multiple screens and prevent interference (RC1 Version Only)
  • 12v trigger feature allows the screen’s UP/DOWN operation to synchronize with the projector’s power cycle
    • Wired 12v trigger capability via wall box controller (RC1 Version Only)
    • Wireless 12v trigger capability via Radio Frequency remote control

Good screen. Not amazing, but good. Pros - easy t

Good screen. Not amazing, but good. Pros - easy to install with two people. Good price. ALR does what it claims Cons - Very poor off axis brightness. I know its an ALR screen but there is so much hot spotting and sparkle. With a plain white picture you can see banding and a bright middle spot right at the center while an equivalent screen from others are more distributed. If I had to do it again, I would not get cinegray 5d. This is good for me because I needed a motorized screen and ALR but if you dont REALLY need it, go with a light grey or similar screen that is flat. The edges of the screen are also warped which is by design according to them so its not a fully exact rectangular picture. Pretty annoying.
